My Work

Space Shapers Augmented Reality Cards

Developed as a prototype for Austin PBS under the University of Texas at Austin's Texas Immersive Institute. Space Shapers is a project that aims to teach children about the importance of spacial awareness through fun and interactive augmented reality.

In Between Jobs

Developed for the 2021 Texas Game Jam. In Between Jobs is a chaotic job simulator created in Unity that requires players to quickly transition between a variety of jobs. The project was awarded the Best Use of Theme Award by the 2021 Texas Game Jam judge panel.

Bonehead

Developed for the Game Maker Toolkit 2021 Game Jam. Bonehead is a Metroidvania-esque platformer that has players explore levels and collect bones to build up their own skeletons and to create structures such as bridges to traverse levels. The game ranked in the top 5% of the 5,755 games that were submitted.

High Roller Tower Defense

Developed for the Game Maker Toolkit 2022 Game Jam. High Roller Tower Defense is based on the classic tower defense genre title in which players roll dice to determine the kind of tower they use to defend their home from monsters. The game ranked in the top 2% of the 6,157 games that were submitted.

Bear Trap

Developed for the Trijam Game Jam. Bear Trap is a top down horror game in which players must survive a night in the forrest with a bloodthirsty bear using just an assortment of bear traps to slow the bear down. The creation of Bear Trap was documented in an educational video on video game design which can be found on my YouTube channel.

Sky High Signs

Developed for the "Amaze Me" GameMaker Studios 2 2021 Game Jam. The player plays as Ace, a shipwrecked sailor on a desolate island in the middle of nowhere. The player must work with the lone island shopkeep to scavenge the dangerous wilderness and find the components to make big, bright neon signs to get him off the island.

Farm Joust

Developed for the 2020 Carnegie Mellon National High School Game Academy Remake Competition. Farm Joust is a twist on the classic 1982 arcade game Joust with multiple different game mechanics and a completely new sound track.

Rover Run

Developed for the 2020 Carnegie Mellon National High School Game Academy Original Game Competition. Rover Run is a 3D space exploration driving game using realistic 3D models and textures for the art style of the rover and planets.

Potion Brewing Minigame

Developed for the 2023 EGaDS Mega Micro Jam. This minigame is one of many in a magic capybara-themed WarioWare video game. This game puts your potion brewing skills to the test as you race against the clock to create enchanting concoctions.

Lulu's Happy Fun Time

"Lulu's Happy Fun Time" is an exciting zombie shooter platformer game created with GameMaker studio. In this thrilling adventure, you take on the role of Lulu the dog and embark on a mission to clear a zombie infested carnival. With hordes of undead dogs standing in your way, you must use your shooting skills and platforming abilities to fight through each level. The game also features a challenging boss fight at the end to put your skills to the ultimate test.

Huffman Compression Application

Developed a Java-based tool designed to compress and decompress files using the Huffman Coding Algorithm. This application comes with a user-friendly GUI that allows you to easily compress your files by selecting them from your computer's storage. With this app, you can reduce the size of your files without compromising the quality of the content. Additionally, you can also decompress previously encoded files with ease.

ACL2 Ordered List and Binary Tree Data Structures

Implemented ordered list and binary tree data structures in ACL2, a Common Lisp-based programming language. Developed functions for insertion, deletion, search, and min/max value retrieval, accompanied by logical proofs to validate their correctness through ACL2.
